Dear members of the GCM Working Group:

After our very succesful on-line Symposium organized last month by Eladio Ocana, from IMCA, Lima, Peru, which substituted for the presential meeting which was planned for 2020 in Arequipa, and which was twice postponed due to the COVID 19 pandemics, the Steering Committee appointed a new chair for the next 3 years: Riccardo Cambini, from the University of Pisa, Italy.

Soon, in agrement with our by-laws, the election of the new Steering Committee by our whole membership will take place.

I thank all of you for your participation in our Working Group and hope that it will make further progress and organize great symponsia in the next few years, under Riccardo’s chairmanship. I also wish Riccardo a very succesful and productive term as chair.
